JESUS PRAYER HOUR
takes place in church at 2pm. on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month. It is an hour of reflective prayer using the Jesus Prayer. It is prayed both silently and out loud, with a time for intercessory prayer for those people and situations held in our hearts. We invite you to come and join with us.

HEALING SERVICES have always played an important part in the worshipping life of St. Martin’s.
Our Wednesday morning congregation have experimented with moving the service from an evening to 10am on the 4th Wednesday of every month. This does mean that our service on this week will last about an hour. Healing played an important part in the ministry of Jesus and we feel that it is no less important today. All are welcome even if you do not normally attend on a Wednesday.

Prayer Circle Group
Continuing our prayer ministry at St. Martin's, we have launched a Prayer Circle Group.
They will meet on the first Monday of each month at 2pm at the residence of Sylvia & Roy North.
 If you would like the circle to pray for your needs or concerns, please contact Sylvia or Roy North (see telephone list for contact phone number) and the team will pray for you. Confidentiality is guaranteed.

GET WELL SOON......
We are beginning a new ministry of sending Get Well cards to those who are poorly in our parish.
If you know of anyone who you think would appreciate a card can you let Joyce Lowe know their details and address if they are not a member of St. Martin's.

Where do we remember our loved ones & friends?
Our Remembrance Book kept in the church is a permanent memorial to our loved ones and friends.
Names can be added at any time by giving details on our application form - available from the churchwarden.
Names are recalled during prayer each week.
We will be holding a November Memorial Service this year, November 6th at 3pm. This service can be a source of comfort to those who have lost a loved one and was greatly appreciated by those who attended last year.
